updates
For the past week i have been working on a story for the game and come concept art, due to blogger being funny with me its not accepting my images for some weird reason ( even though they are jpegs), so hopefully i am going to resolve this matter by the 21st february.
so this was just an update to show where i am at this point of time.

just another quick update about what has been happening for a week i have been steady working on this project and have almost done all of the drawings just need game mechanics and level design plus 2 characters to be done which i shall hopefully have complete by wednesday.
i can then proceed to glue my pitch together, i have also almost done most of the writing for the pitch.
that is all i have to say for now stay posted to see what happens next..

Things are about to get sticky

Im aiming this game towards kids, age 10+, as I think they may be the ones who most likely would be interested in this game.
Broad Game Description
You feed in a list of words, and choose what genre of fairytale you want to create and the hardware will generate a story that seems to fit the description with room to edit, if you are not happy.
You then draw pictures which is scanned and turned into a sticker style look/format.
In the end you will have your very own fairytale or version of fairytale, told through expressive stickers style art.

All the information i am going to post on here are ideas i had for a game which i have now changed, i am still posting it so you will see where the idea was originated from.

IP opportunity statement:
My IP Opportunity is the theme of ‘Superstition’ combined with the ‘Art style of clowns.’
Ip justification:
Throughout my blog I have seen that most things sells when it comes to clowns or superstitious item whether it is movie based or food based, and people are intrigued by the supernatural side of things. Even clowns have had an impact on society as they have cleverly been introduced as gaming characters.
So I have decided that a clothing line that creates custom, (the keyword being custom) unique clown related and superstitious related clothing and jewellery for customers is a marketable idea.
I think this because throughout my research the interest that has been shown when it comes to supernatural things and creepy clown merchandise that seems to grab the public’s attention is quite high.
Merging this with everyday things like clothes and jewellery is a definitive seller as it appeals to both sexes.
Clothes as you know is both worn by men and women and that goes for jewellery as well, but what really makes this idea marketable is the custom part, as I have noticed that most people like to stand out in the crowd and get attention as it makes a person feel special and who does not want to feel special?
Just the sheer feeling a person gets when they are walking down the street knowing fully well that most people walking by are having a second glance at this uniquely made jewellery or item of clothing, something that stands out of the norm.
As the recession has hit many people hard and they get frustrated when they really want something which they cannot get anywhere else and they finally find what they are looking for but then realise that the postage and packaging is costing them more than the actual item or object they are buying, my idea is to make sure that the postage and packaging will always be free, as a thank you for helping this idea take off and in the hopes that you will come back and do business with us again or in the near future, maybe perhaps even tell a friend about us.
This is how the idea works, the customer sends in drawings or ideas of the superstitious or clown related designs, or they can choose from several designs that our designers have already made which will be posted on the website, you can then either pick an item of clothing from the site or even send in your own item of clothing you want your design to be on.
For a special price which will be decided later on, we will even make arrangements to design your idea for you if you cannot draw, all you have to do is send a list of things you would like to have included in your design and specify where you would like this to be and our designers will create a mock-up of this design to send back to you via email or any other type of communication you may have, for you to comment on or add/remove objects until you are satisfied.
Jewellery will be premade and ready to buy on the website, but if you wish to make some modifications to the design or customise it a bit more there will be a small charge for that. Reason for that being as jewellery tends to be a bit more difficult to customise then clothing is.
This is my marketable idea for my IP justification.

Here are some sketches I made, to try and get a feel how I want the game to look like.
Story description or narrative or activity
Story of main character
You are the president of a local clothing company and decided to make something special for people that would like a different take on clothes when it comes to Halloween, so you go through the library to find something on the supernatural side to help inspire ideas.
You find a book with different symbols and designs revolving around the supernatural side of things, not giving it much thought you get straight to work and start copying the strange symbols and start putting it onto the clothes.
There is now only 1 week left leading up to Halloween, Everything is going smoothly until when you are on your way home and get attacked by a crazed person whilst trying to get into your car, you try and try to get him off you but it seems like he is possessed by the devil, after much fighting you pick up a rock at the side of your car and hit the assailant over the head.
Now the assailant is not moving and you take a better look at him and see he is wearing your company’s clothes.
Running back to the office, picking up the book you based your designs on, realising there were warning issued throughout the books saying, each symbol represents a different evil spirit, ranging from tormented clown demons to crazed demonic mental patients.
Unaware that a shadowy figure is watching from distance, your mission is to now try and locate the clothes and get rid of the clothes that are in the possession of the customer, before it’s too late.
Story of mysterious figure
This game has a hidden coop mode, where in the story the main person thinks he is the only one trying to fix the mess he has caused, unaware that what he has done stretches a bit further than just the realm of the living.
You play as a mysterious figure, who is in charge of balancing the dead and the dying, when the main character found that book and started producing the designs onto clothes, he didn’t realise what he was doing was misbalancing the natural order of things in the realm of the un-dead.
So whilst the main character is fighting crazed people that have been possessed, you are trying to keep the real demons at bay from trying to stop the main character from succeeding in his mission, not only have you to worry about these demons but also the little minions causing havoc and disrupting the balance in the city.
Your job is to kill the minions and send the demons back to hell where they belong.
